A New approach to New Year's Resolutions

While doing a bit of blog surfing this morning, I came across this post at My Inspiration Lounge. It was about having realistic resolutions that you could keep. I thought it might be a fun way to start off the New Year, so I will try to post my list.

In 2009 I resolve to:
  • Watch more TV - seriously, I have been complaining about missing Desperate Housewives since the season began. I like the show, but I need to get my act together and catch it on Sunday nights.
  • Park my car further from the door. Instead of resolving to exercise more, I am resolving to add more movement to my daily routine.
  • Eat more chocolate.
  • Finish simplifying my home. I've have been steadily clearly out closets, dressers and the storage area over the past year. I should be satisfied after my next destashing session in my craft room. Of course, this simplying process will require getting over my obsession with buying craft supplies online.
  • Try something different once a month. From a new tea to a new restaurant, I would like to fill this year with new experiences.

Now, how about you? Any New Year's resolutions you'd like to share with me?
