Kindergarten & Knitting
Only a few friends know that I started school a year early. When you live in a small town, over 30 years ago, and your b-day is close to the cut off date, and they need the numbers, the local school board decided that they would grant my parents' request that I start sooner.
And although I have not knit anything in decades, I have all of the needles and at least a case of yarn that my late-mother left behind. I'm thinking that perhaps when the holidays are over, I just may need to work on a scarf or something easy like that.
