Luckily, the princess has made more than a few handmade beauties to contribute to the decor! And I did manage to find a few myself. Here are my favourites:

A few favourites - Christmas 2008
Until about six years ago I had been using very inexpensive tree ornaments (read: cheap and ugly). Then, a friend suggested that I buy a few nice ornaments or even just 1 a year, and soon, I could rid myself of the hideous ones. Which was going well until we decided this year that our pitched ceiling could accomodate a 9-ft. tree. I think maybe I need to get out to the after-holiday sales and hunt down at least 10 new ones a year if I don't want to be collecting until I'm 80 years old.
