Long Weekend, yay !!!

Oh, I just love long weekends! Especially when we have travel plans. And we do.

The four of us are heading out for a roadtrip to the interior. After 5 years of these trips, I'm now getting used to travelling by car. Those who have known me for awhile should know that I easily get motion sickness, that, plus I can be pretty restless at times.

Tomorrow is the last day of school, and my boy is so ready for summer. He'll be going to daycamps for the first 4 weeks and getting some casual hockey training through till Sept. The fabulous thing about the once weekly hockey, is that the parents and kids head to a park after the sessions for some down time. The kids cool down in the waterpark and we all hang out until the sun goes down. Great way to spend Sunday afternoons! Can't wait.

And, while I don't want to jinx it.........the little girl is now about 75% potty trained! Woohoo! No more cases of diapers in our Costco shopping cart.
This girl has been displaying a love for dancing and singing, so we think it may be time to enroll her in some classes. This will be sooooo different from the sports, I think I will 'volunteer' to take her whenever there's a conflict with son's activities (giggle).

It is late...time to hit the hay! Have a great Canada Day!
