I think it's timely that I read that quote today. See, I think I'm at a point where I need to make some really BIG changes. And I can't yet say what they are, but I will share when the time is right. What I can say however is that I am scared and excited at the same time. And lucky for me, I have a very supportive husband to catch me if I fall. For this, I am so thankful.
On the home studio front..... I have packed up about 3/4 of it in preparation for painting. And I think that I have the furniture choices nailed down. Most of it will come from Ikea, not just for the prices, but I do like the simple clean lines. AND I can just drive there and pick it all up myself.
Tony has asked that I not allow this little project to take more than a few weeks. He is definitely the neat freak around here. The boxes are already driving him batty. The room is small as it is, without having heaps of scrapbooking stuff in boxes lying about.
And I am an auntie again! T's sister had a baby BOY on Friday. So, we have postponed our Thanksgiving dinner to next week. Hopefully, the new parents and baby will attend. I don't have any pictures to share....yet.
This next weekend will be a good one I think. My brother and his girlfriend will be in town. And this will be first time that I get to see Yancy pregnant. Yes, there will be yet another new baby in our family. It all makes me think of that song from the Lion King movie....The Circle of Life. My mother's passing came in the first half of this year, but a new life has balanced it out. Then, we get to start the next lunar year (on the Chinese calendar) with the birth of my brother's baby.
There is so much going on that I could go on for another few paragraphs, but I won't. I think I'll save it for another time.
Ciao for now!
