I was doing a little bit of blog surfing this morning and read this cool entry on Wendy Smedley's site. Be sure to check it out. Our minds can do some pretty amazing things.
So, where can I easily find a new desk that won't break the bank? Other than the obvious, Ikea. I am hoping to find one that is at least 5 x 2.5 feet. Tony was suggesting that I use 2 filing cabinets and a door, refinished, of course. But, my first thought was....Well, who would refinish these? Maybe he wants a new project? I did see a good example here. This particular example is of lockers, but basically the same idea. So, maybe he's on to something.
And Autumn has arrived. It started raining last night. Yesterday, everyone around the office was in a blah mood. I think perhaps a trip to Coquitlam Centre and Michael's might do the trick to brighten my mood! And a little side trip to an office supply store to check out filing cabinets. I think I have my weekend plans now. 'Course all of this will have to be worked around Ry guy's hockey practices.
