That is what I am doing at this very moment. And where to I start? Perhaps with the best news.
I have found the perfect daycare for my princess! And the spot just became ours this morning! Tina who runs the daycare from her home is ECE qualified, has all the credentials we are looking for and has a great setup. There's plenty of toys, books, art supplies and a fantastic playground in the backyard. It's a clean, safe and stimulating environment. It feels like a ton of bricks has been removed from the top of my head!
And, my fantastic in-laws called this morning to see if they could babysit the kids tonight. T and I have not been out on a date in eons, so we are very much looking forward to some couple-time. We will head out for a dinner and movie, I think.
And there's more.....I had an inquiry today from a new mom who wants a baby scrapbook for her daughter. I am very excited to hopefully get this chance to do some commissioned work. And I know that this person has a lot of connections in Vancouver, so it would be wise for me to do a great job and then get some word-of-mouth advertising.
I feel it all coming together now! I'm hoping (knock on melamine) that the last third of the year is better than the middle part.
And we all need that.......hope for a bright tomorrow.
