Life altering changes

The service for my mother was hopefully what she would have wanted. There were beautiful flowers in St. Jude's Parish where she had been attending Sunday services for the last 2 years, Rev. A. Lou was the officiant, and many members of the original SFX 11:00 choir sang the hymns. I was deeply touched that so many friends and family came to the service. In particular the friends that had never met my mother, but were there to support me. And the friends who travelled a long way just for the few hours that they shared with me. I have never felt sooo sad and blessed at the same time.
This sad occurance in my life has made me realize that I really should not put off doing things that will better my life and my family's life. And that I should start making some changes.
I was just reading this 12 weeks challenge to make change on Creative Organizing. So, my personal goal is this:
  • To organize my scrap studio and storage closet, and finish decorating Sarah's bedroom by August 31st.
  • To start looking for a career change by September 30th.

I think that's enough for now, right? All this is in addition to my goal to keep off the weight that I've managed to lose over the last 9 months and to not let the little things get to me.

And I will be doing it all one day at a time.
