I'm a aunt again! My brother and his fiance had a little girl on Saturday! Very exciting news and the whole family is tickled pink (no pun intended).
I'm hoping to meet the newest princess very soon. At the latest, I will meet her on the weekend of her baby banquet, which should traditionally be in a month. My brother and significant other are over the moon happy, tired, but happy. And they, like many first parents, are wearing out the batteries in their digital camera.
And some other exciting news is that I've added some more clients to my list. I'm just preparing to get a demo album ready to show to a new potential client. And recently, I was contacted to create from some table decor for a sweet 16th birthday party. This is already turning out to be a good Year of the Pig.
I've been working with my own little princess on potty training. This is big, since it's the last bit of baby-ness that she's still hanging onto. However, with the other kids in daycare going through the same thing, it's made her want to do the "big" kid thing. My darling is growing up (sniff, sniff).
Dear son has been working hard on a class project about the civil war in Darfur. His project team has put together a website to spread the word. This proud parent thinks they've done well. Please visit it if you have a moment.
