I just across a Happy List over at The Tulip Lady (http://thetuliplady.blogspot.com/)
Over the past few years, I've realized that it's the sum of the little things that bring that feeling of contentment, which is what happiness truly is, is it not? I don't think it's really about the fact that I finally own my home, or that I have a car to drive. Don't get me wrong, I am truly thankful for these big things.
So, what are my little things? I'm sure I can come up with more, but this is what I have so far (in no particular order):
- Singing at the top of my lungs with the little princess while we enjoy the latest Highschool Musical soundtrack.
- A cup of green or chai tea on a cold drizzly day (like today)
- Watching the 12 yo and 4yo dancing around the living room to silly songs from Veggietales
- Patterned scrapbooking paper
- The colours pink and brown, together
- and the wee bits of time that I can spend reading my Real Simple magazine (www.realsimple.com) I love this one, don't know why, since I am hardly an organized person at home, but the pictures can be inspiring.

Now, care to come up with a list of your own? Tell me, tell me.
