My ABCs

Hello!

In case there is anyone wondering about my ABC posts, I will try to get back to them this week.

I think my next one is about the letter G. Mmmm, that reminds me of Sesame Street! Remember when there was a letter of the day? That show was so much fun! And I still enjoy watching it now and then with the darling little daughter. And you gotta love that Cookie Monster!

I was in Seattle this past weekend! I had a really great time going to the scrapbooking convention and hanging out with Lesleigh. And I don't have a single photo to share from the 2.5 days! The camera is acting up, so I didn't bother brining it along, but now I wish I had. However, I do have the memories that can become a layout without photos. Weird concept, but I've seen it done. It's basically a decorated page with journaling and sometimes includes momentos, etc.

I had good classes on Saturday, 2 on scrapbooking and 2 for card crafting. I actually learned much more this year, as I was careful to really read the class descriptions to choose ones where I would learn some new techniques. After classes and a bit of shopping in the vendor faire, we went out for a seafood dinner. Yum-my! I ate until my belly could take no more. And it was so wonderful to catch up with Les. While our lives can, at times, be totally hectic, I hope that we can always reserve a weekend a year to do something like this weekend. I came home with a renewed desire to schedule some time with friends, be it for a quick conversation over lattes, or a whole day at the spa (though, I really vote for the second idea of the spa, tee hee!)

And I vow (in writing!) that I will try to minimize my time spent on the online business. It has been occupying me to the point where Tony and the kids are feeling the effects. And I'm not happy with that. So, I have to make some changes.

Change can be good.
