Is the hockey season over yet? I keep asking Tony that, as this has been a looooooong season. The team played their last tournament game last night. I do enjoy watching them play, but it has been 7 months since the start of the season and I'm tired. My last duty for the season will be ensure that the season wrapup party goes smoothly.
So, we are planning to take the kids on a weekend trip to Seattle. Just a quick get away to unwind and attend our cute friends' birthday party. They will be 4 yrs old and 2 years old. My darling monkey girl just loves to see these guys (they are just her size), as does the rest of the family.
We had a great time meeting the newest addition to our family. My little niece was as cute as a button and, as predicted, received most of the attention at her banquet. I did get to take some pictures, and I hope to upload them here in the next few days. I promised her mommy, so I'd better get to it.
Can anyone guess what the 2nd day of Spring looks like in Vancouver? Yup, it's raining cats and dogs! It has hardly let up in the last week. Yuck. I'm ready to see some sunshine.
